Advertising on Dr. T's EconLinks.com is an easy process. You can advertise through text ads or through banners (468x60 pixels). For best results, we recommend a combination of text advertising and banners initially. Once you determine what works best for you, you can always adjust your campaign.

Text ads

Text advertising (or content advertorials) can be based on cost per thousand ad views (CPM), on cost per click (CPC) or on a flat monthly fee. The current rates are:

This means that you pay $2 whenever a text ad is viewed 1,000 times by visitors to our site, and ¢25 whenever a user clicks on a text ad and goes to your site.**

Banner ads

Banner advertising is based on cost per thousand ad views (CPM). The current rates are:

Banner CPM: $5 (min purchase: $50)

This means that you pay $5 whenever a banner is viewed 1,000 times by visitors to our site.**

Tracking the effectiveness of your campaign
If you want to, you will be able to track the effectiveness of your campaign directly. You will be given a userid and a password to our adserver so that you can view all the statistics related to your campaign (AdViews, AdClicks and click-through rates (CTR)). You will also be able to download a report for use in a spreadsheet. An example of the statistics page is shown below.

You will be receiving advertising reports every seven days, and a warning when a campaign is deactivated.

Making your ads
We provide a simple form to use when setting up your CPM or CPC text ads. Regarding banner ads, you can make your own banners in seconds for free on AdDesigner, and they will be e-mailed to you. Our own promotional banners, which are shown on our network, are made by AdDesigner.

Making payments
You can make payments by using your PayPal account, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. Please do not attempt to send us money before your account is set up and you receive an invoice from us. The invoice will include a link to PayPal that will allow you to make the payment.*** For recurring static text ads, if you are not interested in an invoice, you can simply send your monthly payment by e-mail to our PayPal account (we will provide an e-mail address to use).
