Q: What is the source of funding for this
website?
A: This is an add-supported
website. Click here
if you are interested in advertising on EconLinks.com.
Q: What can I do to support the development
of this site?
A: Thank you for asking. There
are many things you can do to support this site:
(i) Tell your friends about this site.
(ii) If you have a web page, include
a link to this site.
(iii) Report broken links and
suggest links to other sites.
(iv) Click on the banners.
Q: What is Dr. T's profession?
A: Dr. T is a Professor of
Economics.
Q: If I click on a link and nothing
happens, is that mean that the link is broken?
A: Not necessarily. Most
links to pages outside our site appear in a new smaller window
(that you can resize at will). If you click on a link and nothing
seems to be happening, the link has most likely opened in a second
window behind the original window. If you are using an older browser,
the "focus" is still on the original window, in which
case all you have to do is click on the icon for the second window
at the bottom of your screen. We have included coding that takes
care of the problem, however, if you still experience it, you
need to upgrade to the latest version of your favorite browser.
(Note, however, that the problem may still occur with Netscape
6.x and above, which we do not support.)
Q: What are the
criteria for a "thumbs up" "?
A: Quality, benefit to the
average user, professional look and ease of use. (Note that we
are not able to fully evaluate pages that require a membership
for full access, hence, these pages are typically not considered
for a "thumbs up".)
Q: When was the site established?
A: The site was established
on November 8, 1999.
